not very often will i post anything about fashion, design, art, etc on this blog. i'm not sure why exactly. it does consume most of my thoughts and any down time i have from work. i guess i am more of a sponge when it comes to these things. i watch fashion reality tv, read design magazines, religiously follow 50+ blogs, online window shop, so on and so forth. it appears i'm too busy trying to catch up on these things that i can never sort through them and re-post what i consider the best of the best.
we'll here's my first attempt. and i'm really cheating because i'm simply giving you a link to a great blog called "knight cat." she recently posted photos from the alberta ferretti spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection. in my opinion, it's ideal.
it's a great combination of soft fabrics, great texture, and easy beautiful comfort. there's no way you wouldn't feel gorgeous wearing any one of those peices. notice the shorter skirt under sheer maxi dress. i would usually think tacky, but it's really well done and ultra feminine.
this collection is my ideal spring wardrobe. i hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
